Introduction
Your privacy is important to us and we want you to feel comfortable using our training site. This notice explains our online practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is used or displayed. We want you to always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We collect and use information within the training site only as disclosed in this Privacy Policy. This statement applies solely to information collected on this training website. This policy does not apply to other entities that we do not own or control or persons that are not our employees, agents or within our control. User Information On This Site / Purpose
A password is required to enter this "closed" site. Users are project attorneys and those attorneys designated by the California appellate indigent defense projects - CCAP, ADI, CAP-LA, FDAP, and SDAP (collectively referred to as the "CAP projects"), as a currently active panel member (hereinafter referred to as "statewide panel"). A user may belong to one or more CAP project panels to be on the statewide panel.

The purpose of this training site is to facilitate user-friendly project training to enhance and develop the knowledge base, practice skills, and research/writing skills of appellate panel practitioners. Participation in watching the training videos will earn the user participation MCLE & specialization credit (if applicable) with the California State Bar as designated for each individual presentation. In order to comply with electronic "attendance" for participation, credit, and archiving of State Bar credits pursuant to the California State Bar MCLE Technology Subcommittee Online Guidelines, we must store a user's name, email address, and state bar number. We will maintain records of credits earned as required by the State Bar in case of an audit. We will release information to the State Bar only as requested by the State Bar, upon notice to the user, or to the user upon request.

We do not sell, distribute, or give away any personal identifiable information (PII), including the list of statewide panel names, to outside parties.

Data collection does not include tracking PII across third-party websites or other online services. In addition, our website coding will not disable a user's option to use a "do not track" signal from their browser.
